HEALTH CHECK UP DONE? HAVE YOU HEPATITIS VIRUS B OR C IN YOUR BLOOD?

The most common cancer in non smoking males is prostate cancer. The next in frequency is liver cancer. In women next to breast and uterine cancer, liver cancer is the next common cancer.

Nearly all liver cancers occur in patients who silently harbour hepatitis virus B or virus C in their body for years together without taking the treatment consisting of interferon, Ribavarin or allied drugs.

In a health check up, should you not know whether your blood tests show any evidence of hepatitis virus B or virus C? If so you could prevent developing liver cancer in future by taking the above drugs! Sure enough liver cancer is 100 per cent fatal as compared to an attack of stroke or myocardial infarction (where the death rate is only one third) for which your blood pressure or blood cholesterol levels are being studied!!
