THREE COMMON DRUGS IN PRIVATE PRACTICE WHICH CAUSE OEDEMA OF THE FEET

The following are the common drugs which are notorious for causing oedema, specially of the legs:-
1. Steroids.
2. Amlodipine or Nifedipine.
3. NSAID group of drugs.
Next time you see a patient, exclude iatrogenic causes by asking for the history of taking any of the above drugs.
